The 28th Busan Industrial Peace Prize ceremony was held at Busan City Hall.
The Industrial Peace Prize is an award given to those who have contributed to the establishment of industrial peace by preventing labor-management disputes, creating jobs, and improving workers' rights and interests based on trust between labor and management in the industrial field. Oh Sanghoon, CEO of Junghyun Electric, was awarded the Industrial Peace Prize in the entrepreneur category.
Junghyun Electric has been selected as a work-life balance participating company and has been taking the lead in improving employee welfare systems through the performance compensation sharing system, flexible working system, spouse parental leave, family care leave, and Family Love Day and spreading the work-life balance culture. It tries to create a culture of coexistence of the employees and the company. In addition, this award was given because of the efforts of all the employees to promote the welfare of the local communities through their regular volunteer work and donation activities.
